+ What is the maximum capacity?

The boat is 26ft and can hold up to 6 guests. Four will fit comfortably in the cockpit but you're welcome to spread around the deck!

+ Can we book less than a two hour sail?

We recommend a minimum of an hour and a half for photoshoots. Sailboats move slower than other boats and it takes some time to get the sails up and boat set up for sailing/shooting.

+ Can I bring my own snacks/drinks?

Yes! You're welcome to bring your own food & drinks aboard. We don't allow red wine as it can stain if spilled.

+ Do you book sunrise sails?

Yes, we love a sunrise and those can be booked upon request!

+ When is the final balance due?

Your 25% deposit is due at booking and the final balance is due on the date of your sail. You will get automatic reminders to be able to pay your invoice online. We can also accept Venmo or Cash!

+ What time of year is best for sailing?

Summer on the lake is always a good time but we also highly recommend spring and fall sailing! The winds pick up when weather cools down and cozy sweaters make for cozy sailing!

+ Do you have onsite parking?

There is parking at the dock we pick up from, however, there is an $8 fee to enter the gate.

+ Can we rent the boat without a captain?

No, our trips are all done by licensed captains.

+ Is swimming and/or jumping off allowed?

Yes! If that's the case then we do recommend adding at least one extra hour to your sail so that there's plenty of time for sailing & swimming!

+ Do you offer sailing lessons?

Yes, we offer a non-formal "intro to sailing" class. We'll teach you the basics & terminology with a ton of hands on operation! please note : this is not an ASA certification course but a great way to learn a new hobby in a laid back atmosphere

+ Is there a place to change on the boat?

There is! We can close the cabin door and provide a private place to change.

+ Is there a toilet on board?

Yep! It's definitely not your typical toilet - more of a "roughin' it" campsite vibe for emergencies so we do suggest using the restroom before your sail.

+ What happens if it rains?

If rain is on the forecast and provides unsafe sailing conditions, we will make the call two hours before your sail. We do our best to get you rescheduled to the next available date or get your sail refunded.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

If you decide you'd like to cancel your sail with a more than 48hr notice, we will refund your sail. If you're cancelling within the 48hr window then we will use our disgretion and take each situation on a case-by-case basis. Just remember, we will never take you out in unsafe conditions and will make any weather related final calls.

+ Is there music on board?

Yes, we have an iPad equipped with Spotify Premium and a bluetooth speaker for guests to choose their own music or listen to our curated sail playlist!
